A community hub

The plans for the new City Market will relocate the market to an ideal setting along the Riverfront, one of Lansing’s greatest assets, in the heart of downtown Lansing. The location will increase patron accessibility, while the design will optimize the space’s functionality.  By creating a unique community meeting ground, the new market will tap into the potential of the City Market and revitalize this valuable downtown asset.

What Can You Do?

You can attend the Lansing City Council meeting at 7pm on August 4 on the 10th floor of City Hall to voice your support for the City Market project. To speak, you will need to sign in before the meeting. You will be called by name to address the board at the appropriate time.
